This is the premium amber beer made by Estella Galicia. It is slightly bitter, and the taste seems similar to Estella Galicia, althought it is a little smoother. 1906 is 6.5% alcohol. I rate it a 6.5.
Alhambra Especial
This is s 5.4% alcohol lager beer that is made in Granada. It is refreshing and goes down smooth. It is the best beer I have found in Spain. This would be the perfect beer to drink on a hot Andalusian summer afternoon. I'll give it a 8.
This is Alhambra's signature beer. It comes in an olive green bottle with no labels and tastes very bitter. I actually prefer the Alhambra Especial over the Reserva 1925, which is supposed to be the brand's premium beer. I found this beer hard to drink due to the intense caramel taste. I'll give it a 3.
Ambar is a golden lager from Zaragoza. It is widely available at bars throughout Spain. It is fairly smooth and 5.5% alcohol. I'll give it a 6.
Estrella Galicia
Estrella Galicia seems to be a common beer in northern Spain and is very common in Galicia. This beer has s bit of an after taste like a bock beer. It is made in A Coruna and is 5.5% alcohol. I rate it a 6.
Mahou
Mahou seems to be the most commonly available beer in Spain. It tastes like a lager and is 5.5% alcohol. It is not amazing, but it is drinkable and does not break the bank. I'll give it a 6.5.
San Miguel Especial
This is a widely available beer in Spain. This lager is cheap and goes down okay. The alcohol content is 5.4%. I'd say it is like the Pabst Blue Ribbon of Spain. I'll give it a 5.5.
San Miguel Radler
This is a lighter, summer variant of San Miguel. It has a lemon flavor added and is only 2.5% alcohol. The lemon makes it a smoother alternative to San Miguel. It seems to be a seasonal beer as most bars with San Miguel Radler taps do not have kegs hooked up in the winter. I'll give it a 7.
This is a bottom shelf wheat beer made in Valencia. It is the cheapest beer I could find in the convenience store. It is 4.5% alcohol. Based on Chinese writing that appears on the cans, it appears to be heavily exported to the Far East. I rate it a 2.
